This developer produces good-looking negatives and is favored by those who like to put their film in the developer and forget about it for an hour or so. Little or no agitation is necessary after the film is first put in the tank, because the low sulphite content prevents the streaks and uneven development which are due to diffusion of silver bromide dissolved by the high sulphite content of other developers.
