Reducer for over-developed negatives.

Potassium permanganate | 4 | grams |
Water to make | 1 | liter |
Solution B | ||
Sulphuric acid | 2 | mililiters |
Water to make | 1 | liter |
Mix chemicals in order. |
Both Solution A and Solution B keeps well. For use take 100 mililiters of water, add 15 mililiters of Solution A, then 15 mililiters of Solution B. After reduction, fix for several minutes in an acid fixing bath and then wash thoroughly.
Permanganate reducer does not act so energetically as G503 and G504 but it has the advantage that it can be used repeatedly.
