Description This lens was available in M42 and Exakta RTL mount, and has a longer helicoid which makes it physically longer and heavier than its f/2 predecessor. It followed the general pattern of evolution as the Meyer/Pentacon 1.8/50 as an alternative fast standard; the first version had bright fluting and from the start was available in both auto and electric forms. Also remounted in B-mount as the Carl Zeiss Jena Prakticar 1.8/50.
